It is not new that "ease and comfort" are the god of the age.....those two liars and posers kill slowly. Worshiping them rots human dignity from the inside out and turns the glory of life into a mockery.
Life is hard and no one gets out alive. The soft and arrogant among us will have lived half a life at best. They will never have tasted the fear of risk and the thrill of the failures while pretending to themselves they have. They will have sat on the couch and wondered where their life went why they feel so empty. They will be the hero of their own shallow stories and the center of their own small worlds.
If some think I am talking about fitness, they are 10% right.

Again....you are very right Kyle. Well stated. I admire your understanding of the different shades of these ideas. You are a good model to me of both ends of the scale.
Now, get down here for a WOD and we'll focus on one side of the scale for a little while.
